Lawsuit against Netflix over ‘13 Reasons Why’ Suicide Scene Dismissed

Toronto Rethinks Funding for Nursing Homes After Death Toll
in Toronto 1 in 8 people have died from COVID-19 in a nursing home. The pandemic has certainly posed some risks for those that depend on a caretaker. According to The Daily Press, approximately 9,400 mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts and uncles are among the frailest residents affected. Family of Riverside County Employee Files Wrongful Death for COVID
Last year, a Riverside County employee died after contracting COVID-19. They filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the county. While this is uncommon, it isn’t unheard of.
According to CBS, victim Michael Haywood worked for Riverside’s flood control district. He suffered from pre-existing medical conditions like diabetes, a respiratory illness, and had been a cancer survivor in the past. The report claims his bosses knew that he was at high risk. (more…)
